I never received any notification and now they are only willing to 'let me' pay them for a new annual subscriptions plan when the plan I had was double the data and required NO ADDITIONAL COST.

Reach back out to them to get my account password changed so I could use the backup plan once again only to find out they cancelled all lifetime subscriptions.

Then Covid hit and my old computer died, and I stopped actively using the service. I bought a Lifetime subscription data backup plan, fully paid upfront which I used for a few years. Pretty horrible experience as a paid customer Bummer since they were a backup, which isn't a backup when you need it. Whereas paying a lot less, but ongoing, is a constant revenue stream to keep your account hopefully alive. This is one reason I am no longer a fan of 'lifetime deals' or LTD where you pre-pay for a SAAS because they have no reason to keep supporting you.

I searched my email and found an email saying they are no longer honoring my lifetime account, they apologize, but all my data would be deleted in a certain number of days. Well, I just pulled up the website to retrieve some super old data (from years ago) and they say no account exists. I mean, why do I need to get regular emails from a company I pay all-at-once and up-front, with the entire intention to have a cloud backup I don't have to worry about ever again. I was using Zoolz as a online cloud backup but had my emails going to my 'other' folder since they spammed me too much.
